Gabriel Aronson

Gabriel Aronson is an Austrian-American designer, animator and world-builder. Born into a musical family, he was raised in the wings of the Vienna State Opera, instilling an early love of scenic design and storytelling. Since graduating from the Theater Program at Sarah Lawrence College in 2008, he has built an international career combining his passion for theater and animation as an animator for projections and video design, working on a dozen Broadway productions, as well as Metropolitan Opera, Santa Fe Opera, the Royal Ballet at Covent Garden, the West End, as well as concerts for Mariah Carey, James Taylor, and the Grammy Awards and Golden Globes, among others. He is also active as an itinerant animator on the high seas, creating content for Disney Cruise Lines and Royal Caribbean. 

Outside of his theater work, Aronson operates the Instagram account @artomaton, a world-building project exploring The Fair, an Exposition full of strange pavilions and characters, inspired by his love of theme parks, vintage world's fairs and sixties giallo horror.
